New Care Technology (CT) Service for Leicestershire residents

Leicestershire County Council’s Adult Social Care and Health launched their  new Care Technology (CT) Service for local residents on 25 April.

Care Technology (sometimes referred to as ‘telecare’) is monitoring and alert equipment that can be tailored to help people remain safe and independent in their homes and communities. This equipment can also provide residents, their carers, family and friends with the reassurance that help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The new CT Service will be free for all adults living in Leicestershire who meet the council’s eligibility criteria. To find out more visit www.leicestershire.gov.uk/care-technology
