Children and Families Partnership

The Leicestershire Children and Families Partnership is made up of the key organisations that work with children, young people and their families across Leicestershire, including education, health, police and social care.

The purpose of the Children and Families Partnership is to champion effective partnership working, so that together we have shared priorities and deliver outcomes that make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

The Children and Families Partnership has a shared vision: “Children & young people in Leicestershire are safe and living in families where they can achieve their full potential.”

The Children and Families Partnership aims to deliver this vision and take joint accountability for the delivery of those outcomes in Leicestershire’s Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy that relate to children and young people:

  1. Ensure the best start in life
  2. Safe and free from harm
  3. Support families to be resilient and self-sufficient
  4. Ensure vulnerable families receive personalised, integrated care and support
  5. Enable children to have good physical and mental health
