Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2024-2028

Supporting and helping people living with dementia and their carers remains a priority for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland’s (LLR) health, social care and voluntary organisations.

The draft Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2024-2028 sets out the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ambitions to support people to live well with dementia.

The consultation runs from Monday 17 July until Friday 22 September 2023, and you can take part by visiting the Consultation page.

Priorities of the 2024-2028 strategy include ‘diagnosing well’ – which ensures people have equal access to dementia care by acknowledging inequalities – and ‘living well’ – which aims to help give everyone the opportunity to live life to the full post-diagnosis.

Planned actions for each of the priorities are described and we want to know your views on these. This feedback will be used to develop our detailed action plans which will support this strategy.
