First Contact Plus

First Contact Plus enables the county council, district and borough councils, NHS, emergency services, voluntary sector and many other agencies to work together to ensure residents aged 16 and over, across Leicestershire receive the appropriate support.

Colleagues from these partner organisations frequently come into contact with residents who require additional support, either during home visits, telephone calls or work with them in other settings. A referral can be made to First Contact Plus for support with a wide range of issues including; improving your health, falls prevention, families & relationships, money, debt & benefits, your home, feeling safe, living independently and work, learning and volunteering.

First Contact Plus has also launched the option of self-referral via its website, enabling a quick and efficient way access to Leicestershire’s prevention offer.

First Contact Plus is key to the delivery of a comprehensive offer for community based prevention for Leicestershire residents.
