Consultation on draft strategy to tackle obesity and support people to maintain a healthy weight.

In November 2020, Leicestershire residents and organisations were invited to share their views on the County Council’s proposals for a Healthy Weight Strategy for Leicestershire 2021-2026, visit www.leicestershire.gov.uk/weight-strategy for more information.

The draft strategy sets out the council’s commitment to increase the number of adults, children and families who are a healthy weight in Leicestershire by 2026.  The council’s aim is to work together with community groups, local organisations and businesses to create an environment that encourages people to make healthy choices and supports communities to live and age well.

If you have any questions about this consultation, please email HealthyWeight@leics.gov.uk or call 0116 305 0705.
